The data will be not only be securely encrypted and stored in separate secure servers located in different geographical locations, it will also be kept in hard copy format to ensure there is no loss, even in the event of a natural disaster. Encryption of your work means unauthorised users will not be able to access protected work.
Protecting your work
Once your work has been protected in our database, you will not be able to view the content on your account, only the name and date of registration. This ensures total protection of your work as evidence, although the details can be obtained later in a case of an infringement or dispute.

Once you have completed your registration successfully an e-mail containing your certificate attached with a unique ID will be sent within minutes. This can be printed from wherever you are located providing you have access to a printer. You also have the option to receive a hard copy certificate which can be sent to your address with The Right Copy hologram embedded within it along with all of the relevant information attached. We can offer you the flexibility of online registration or postal registration.
Our user-friendly step-by-step registration process will make protecting your work a breeze and more importantly it will provide immediate protection of your work for up to 10 years. The Right Copy service allows multiple uploads of documents at one time. Our system will send you, automatically, a notification of renewal to ensure that you don’t lose your protection.

How to Register an Account Online
Step One – Contact Information
Step one allows you to register with The Right Copy. You will have to submit accurate details including your name, address, contact telephone numbers and an e-mail address.
The information provided in this section will be used by us to correspond with you. Once your information has been entered successfully you can carry on to step two.
Step Two – Upload Documents with Relevant Information
Step two enables you to upload and enter names of individuals or organisations who own the copyright. Collectives can enter a group name. Note. Please ensure the information given in this section is correct as it will used as the basis upon which certificates will be issued. Options will be available to confirm the type of work being uploaded (e.g. literary, design, musical or artistic) and also the Title/Name of the work.
We also offer you the option of having multiple hard copies of your certificate sent to your contact address. When multiple works are being uploaded and the first document has been completed, repeat the first function again. Additional information may be given about the work being submitted and also the duration of protection required.
Step Three – Confirm the Information Entered
Step three allows you to check all the information that you’ve and allow you a further opportunity to make any changes necessary. Once terms and conditions have been agreed upon you then proceed to the payment page.
Step Four – Payment
You will now be prompted to pay for your work to be registered and protected. When you click the “Pay Now” button you will be redirected to Paypal’s secure server and the payment will be taken. Once this has been completed and your payment has been authorised, your work will begin to benefit from the protection of The Right Copy.
Step Five - Finish
We will automatically send you a receipt of the transaction via e-mail with a unique payment reference number as your initial record along with a certificate. (by post or by email????).

A downloadable registration form is available for you to complete. All relevant information has to be completed before The Right Copy can proceed with your application.
